Child Language Disorders

Expressive Language

Wondering if your child is using enough words? Or using them in them in an appropriate way?

If you child experiences frustration when trying to express their ideas to others, they may need a little help. Expressive communication comes in many ways: cooing, pointing, gesturing, grunting, single words, or a few words together, or even kicking and screaming. Let's figure out what your child is trying to say and help them do so in an appropriate way.

Receptive Language

Does your child have difficulty understanding directions (either written or spoken), can't seem to show that they know what you're saying to them, or can't seem to answer questions (who, what, where, when, why, how)?

We're here to help your child gain some tools for the communication tool box. Let us know how we can help!
